Efficient Performance
Every 2026 GMC Acadia employs the same powertrain. A turbocharged 2.5-litre, four-cylinder engine sits under the hood and is attached to an eight-speed automatic transmission. It will make 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. The three-row GMC SUV can achieve 12.1 L/100 km in the city and 10.1 L/100 km on the highway.
Towing Capacity
Since all 2026 GMC Acadia models use the same powertrain, they all have the same towing capacity. When the SUV is properly equipped it can tow up to 2,268 kg (5,000 lbs.). Additionally, all 2026 Acadia trims offer a towing driving mode as standard equipment.
Design
Passenger Space
The three rows of seats round inside the 2026 Acadia can hold seven or eight passengers, depending on which trim grade is chosen. People sitting in the first row have up to 1,125 millimetres of legroom. Second row passengers can use up 1,053 mm and third row passengers are left with 816 mm.
Cargo Volume
By offering three rows of seating, the 2026 Acadia also makes one of the largest cargo bays available in its class. When the two rear rows are folded down, there is up to 2,761 litres of cargo volume. Owners will find up to 1,623 litres behind the second row and 651 litres behind the third row. A hands-free power liftgate is standard equipment across the current Acadia lineup.

Premium Infotainment
All four 2026 GMC Acadia use the GMC Premium Infotainment System. It makes Google Built-In available, which offers enhanced connectivity for Google Assistant, Google Maps and more. Voice-activated technology is also standard.
